The food was well prepared and tasty, and served quickly. It was quite good. What disappointed was the service. There were 2 beet items on the menu. We ordered the less expensive appetizer but received and were charged for the other. Also, the wait for our bill was excessive. We were in the bar...people were waiting for us to leave. Yet we waited about 25 minutes for our bill after asking for it...and another 5 minutes or so while it was processed. Side note - there was live music. A singer and keyboard. He wasn't very good and he was too loud. Talking was much easier during his breaks! We'd return, the restaurant concept is a good one but I hope they can work out the bugs!

The food did turn out to be pretty good. But it would have been nice to have had more than an apology for the hour we waited for it.

Overall, I'd rated this visit as 3.5. That said, I will give it another try because it opened just six weeks ago and still has a few kinks to work out in the service department. I met a friend for drinks last night (Friday). We sat at the bar which was large but somehow felt very cozy. My friend told our bartender that I liked Reisling so she poured two samples of Riesling and one of another white she thought I might like which was a nice touch. She was attentive and friendly without being intrusive and we enjoyed chatting with her. We decided to get a bite to eat and Jacqueine made a number of suggestions in each category on the menu. She knew the menu well. So far, great service. We ordered the grilled Maine lobster tail - very tasty and perfectly cooked at $9; the grilled pear and spinach salad with gorgonzola, walnuts and a sherry walnut vinaigrette dressing at about $12, which they unfortunately forgot to dress but was easily remedied, and organic salmon with asparagas, corn with bacon and red bliss potatoes at about $27. Very good. Jacqueline vanished after bringing the salad dressing and so did the great service! Shift change? Sudden illness? Couldn't tell you. No one checked in after the entree was served. and trying to get someone's attention to order dessert and coffee was a chore. Long story short, when we did see the desserts (nice presentation in tall shot glasses) we selected the same one. One was served from the presentation tray while I waited for the other. And waited, and waited. An offer of another cup of coffee would have been nice. We ended up cancelling the dessert and asking for the check. A note about the entertainment. A piano player was on a pedestal inside the bar with the bartenders. We thought it would be too loud and intrusive given its location but she was good and it was actually a nice backdrop. A suggestion to the management - mechanize the pedestal so the poor woman does not have to get off and turn it herself.

After a terrible food experience at seasons 52 chestnut Hill & receiving a credit,I thought I'd give it another try . The pan crusted mushrooms were dry , the flat bread were like burnt crackers and dry , the turkey burger was inedible .... tasted so old...The maple chicken tasted like super market chicken . I would never eat there again ..what a disappointment after waiting for it to open...oh and the dessert is fair....poor poor quality considering its owned by capital grille.....

Sat around the bar area a lady came by said she will be right back to clear the table and our waiter would be with us in a moment 15-20mins later she came back cleared the table asked if the waiter came over no not yet she said well I guess I will be taking care of you ok put in our apps and dinner not knowing if she would ever come back if not order the stuffed mushrooms and the lobster tail both were good but small portions leave you hoping the dinner is just ask good and hopefully filling for dinner had tried the honey roasted chicken and the grilled scallops both where not good the scallops alone were cooked well but both meals lacked flavor my date didnt care for the chicken and the yukon mashed potatoes were not mashed very well ended up sending that dinner back and having it removed off the bill which went over pretty well didnt have to talk to the manger or nothing all in all the service was terrible the food was mediocre not really worth the time or money I would skip this resturant for a date night and head acrosd the street 4 the cheesecake factory instead lol.

Ordered the trout and pork. Awful, and took an hour. Bad wedding food, or alternately, so so cafeteria food for the over 60 crowd.

We had a reservation at 7:30PM on Dec 26th that went awry. The staff at the front desk was borderline rude. We were told we would need to wait 20 minutes after our reserved time and another group was told the same. They called the manager who was very nice but she was overwhelmed. While we waited, two separate sitting guests showed up to plead for their tables to be cleared and for their checks. We left after 25 minutes waiting after our confirmed reservation times and the front desk woman said "okay", not I'm sorry. I've been going to the restaurant in Orlando for years and love it. Very disappointing.

Enjoyed it. We went very early (4pm ish) to avoid the crowd. We really liked the food- was very fresh tasting, flavorful, and didn't have the heavy greasy taste of a lot of places. Am giving it 3 stars rather than higher only because it can't compete w/ a super high end restaurant, and the portions were small. But that being said, we did really think it was good.

Tried this new place, which is near my office, last night. Service was really great and the interior decor is also nice and big! Sadly, the food was 'meh'. We ordered the lobster flatbread special and it came out lukewarm. The lobster tasted pickley and most likely came from a can (aka: not fresh). The dish did not taste good and we were unable to finish it - no flavor at all and dry. We also tried the blackened steak and blue cheese flatbread which was had very little steak on it (which was overcooked), blue cheese was hard to find let alone taste and again, overall, the flavor was unredeeming and, well, bad. We would not order either again. Two of us tried the grilled kona-crusted lamb which came out overcooked, dry and overall, just poor quality meat (at $26 a dish!!!). We both sent our dishes back unable to eat the dish. The staff were wonderful and not one complaint about service. For desserts, the mini indulgences (individual cup-sized servings of different desserts) were excellent/delicious! Would definitely recommend trying a couple of those. But sadly, I don't think I'd return as the savory part of our meal was not high quality and I could make something much more tasty myself.

Ladies who (wait for) lunch This place is designed for middle aged women who don't mind a long wait for decent food. Others have noted the poorly trained wait staff, so let me pile on with a few examples: * waitress brought coffee twice but neglected to bring a spoon each time. A customer has to tell a waitress to bring a spoon with coffee? * the tag team wait staff don't communicate--our dessert guy went from table to table asking who was ready for dessert because he and the waitress didn't get their signals straight about who was ready for dessert (he admitted this) * wait staff left a tray on the floor for 15 minutes after delivering food to another table. An accident waiting to happen Food wasn't bad and the mini desserts are a good value. Promising diners that no disk is over 475 calories is a smart idea to attract women. Also provding small and large salad items and hooks for pocketbooks along the bar. Turkey tips were cooked to just the right level but served cool. As others have noted, you can find better food and much better service, at the same price, across the street. Note that this is part of the Darden chain. While they tried to not make this operate like a chain restaurant, they failed.

Over priced for basic food that was served cold.....

I am not sure whether to say awful or disgusting. The service slow, our waitress was missing in action all evening. The food tasted like a mall food court meal. The food came out cold, out of order with appetizer after main meal. Overall TERRIBLE.
We were greeted by not one but two valets as we approached the door, and then the whole coterie of staff in the entrance. The pre-Grand Opening night! Led to a solitary booth at the back of the cavernous main floor, we had a bird's eye view of the comings and goings in the dining area. The entire meal was comp'ed, but we did look at the prices and found them to be more reasonable than downtown Boston, but still pricey when compared with the serving size. This is a Darden Group restaurant chain, the theme being that nothing on the menu exceeds 475 calories (but the dishes add up!), but it still felt like a standalone bistro. The food was well prepared and presented, and the staff effusively talked - from waitress to manager to partner - during various times of the meal. It did not feel intrusive, as we had very good and intelligent conversation with them all. The meal? Chef's lobster and mozzarella flatbread (crunchy at the edges, good size chunks of ...we assumed lobster... and overall a very nice appetizer), organic field garden salad, with just the right dosage of vinaigrette. On to the scallop and the lamb entrees, which were both light and savory, a nice offset to the 2008 (they advertised a 2009, but did a little "bait and switch") Bordeaux. Wine prices are pretty decent due to good selections of cheap wines that they can substantially mark up. Dessert was chosen from a palette of similar-sized treats whose names escape me because there were so many, but we had a chocolate mousse thing, and a fresh fruit cup. The double espresso came hot and good sized, and I can't speak for the decaf regular, but it got no complaints. Great place to take someone out to a dependable, reasonably priced dinner that will satisfy average and upscale diners.

I went here for the first time tonight and was extremely underwhelmed by everything in there. First off, the dining room is way too dark. I saw a ton of people with their cell phones out to try and see the menu. I don't like the idea of everything under 475 calories. Just seems to ruin the idea of going out to a nice meal. I had the vegetable soup, which was very bland and boring. Tasted like progresso. Just not interesting. I also had the tuna salad which was just boring. A few pieces of no seasoning, bland Tuna and a simple salad. My uncle had a dessert and its easy to keep them under 475 calories when they are literally served in a shot glass. C'mon. Service was decent but unspectacular and the plates were literally so hot, you couldn't put a finger on them. I know this place is just opening and I've been to another chain location in Florida(I actually liked it), but I was really disappointed with this and won't go back. The other 4 diners in my party also thought it was very average. I'm starting to learn that chain restaurants are pretty awful. Even the supposed upscale ones.

I went here for Happy Hour on a Monday on a whim and I was so pleased with their menu. I absolutely loved their flatbread and flight of wine deal for $15 which included half glass samples of 3 different types of wine as well as a full glass of wine of your choice. The chicken pesto flatbread and the steak and Gorgonzola flatbread were amazing!!! The $5 selection of small plate items were also quite tasty. It was nice to be able to have great food, drinks and atmosphere for a bargain. Also, they had someone singing and playing the piano live!! What a place!

You know, i know this is a chain, which, if you know me, you know I don't really love chains and often wont give them 5 stars... BUT... I must say, I love this location.. it is beautiful and a great location... Service was fantastic and quick and not pushy... place was clean and nicely decorated... food was delicious and so fresh. We had the Lobster/Mozzarella Flatbread, Steak and Blue Cheese Flatbread, and Fig/Bacon Flatbread. Also, we had a small dessert (love that their desserts are in small forms and you can try good stuff without having a huge amount)... it was a s'more one... Really yummy! Overall, good service, good menu, good drinks, good atmosphere.... :) Finally, LOVE that they put the calories on the menu.

Seasons 52 is located just by the Route 9 entrance to Wegman's in the Chestnut Hill Square. It is a good sized chain restaurant with a focus on using that which is in season. They have a large bar area, a rather spacious dining room, and a few private rooms in the back. They were participating in Dine Out Boston at $20 for a 3 course lunch. Restaurant Week appetizer options were either a cup of seasonal soup or a flatbread shared by two. However, I had come alone, and was considerately still allowed the choice of the flatbread options. Service was pleasant, but rather scattered, so my time there ran a tad long, and I was asked if I was ready for the bill before I even had dessert. Additionally, my water was not refilled, and my table was never fully cleared between courses. The Grilled Garlic Pesto Chicken flatbread ($9.80 a la carte) took up a large chunk of the table real estate, but was cracker thin, though not overly crispy. The whole was not greater than the sum of its parts - even though I like each ingredient separately, it didn't combine together as something particularly special. The Grilled Boneless Rainbow Trout $17.50 was a healthy option. Not the most flavorful dish, but filling. The Roasted Idaho Potato Wedges $2.80 came with twin dipping choices. I preferred the truffle mayo to the bbq sauce, but I have come to the realization that I prefer my french fries fried rather than baked. Dessert ended up being the highlight. A selection of their Mini Indulgence desserts were presented to me and named one by one. I ended up picking the Cannoli with Raspberry Sauce. Since my favorite part of this traditional Italian dessert is the filling, this deconstructed version was ideal for me.

Slightly upscale feel in the new-ish Chestnut Hill plaza, with seasonal food choices, extensive wine list and 4-star restaurant service. Again, spoiled by the amount of food choices in Boston, this place is a convenient quality option for my family and I to celebrate birthdays. Solid ambiance, especially at night when there's a singer/pianist playing some familiar songs. I'm still getting used to portion sizes in 'fine dining', however I did feel the ratio of risotto to scallops I got was a bit low. If I had gotten the meal alone I would have still been hungry, so an app is definitely encouraged. Aside from the portion size, the scallops did seem cooked a BIT too much, nothing to really complain about, but a seafood enthusiast may have a different opinion. A family member of mine had an issue with her salmon. Apparently she felt it was undercooked, so the waitress immediately took it back and had the chef's correct the order in about 5 minutes. Oh, and our food was pretty much all brought out at the same time. That was nice too for a group of 7. I definitely like this place and would always go back if I was in the area, as some of the other alternatives in the area (that I'm aware of) are Cheesecake Factory and the sushi place connected to Bloomingdale's (I think), and those just aren't for me.

Food was delicious but the service is poor. If a make a reservation for a specific time I expect my table to be ready when I arrive. We had to wait another 25 minutes to be seated. Drinks take way too long to arrive also the entrees. The place is really loud and you can barely hear the soft spoken servers.

The first time we went to this location, we were greeted at the door by two women, not particularly friendly, but not rude--just "doing their job" types, which is fine. I should mention that I LOVE the Seasons 52 in Fort Lauderdale and this was my husband's first rodeo at a S52. Simply put, I wanted him to love it so we could return often, as we live right down the street. Needless to say, I talked it up to him. "It's great!" "You're gonna love it!" Yadda, yadda. Upon entering, the hostess insisted on getting our last name for the table. I told her that we're all set and would just like to be seated and she said "we need a last name for the table." If someone says that they don't want their last name associated with a table, that should be the end of the discussion. It seems a little odd & too personal of a question and she did not give an explanation as to why this was important, even after noticing our hesitancy. We gave our name and proceeded to the table. The atmosphere was lovely and reminded me of Fort Lauderdale. I was enjoying my time, but my husband's food was not prepared properly. The manager did a wonderful job of replacing his meal and comping it, which we both appreciated. My food was delicious! But, still, my husband wasn't impressed. So, I pushed and pulled and prodded my husband to try it a second time, thinking that the first time was a fluke. He finally agreed! This time, we walked in the door and there was a guy in a hoodie standing behind the hostess stand with headphones, playing on his phone. His side was facing us, but he saw us and didn't say a word. We were the only three people at the hostess stand. No hostess. Just us and him. We waited for about 5 minutes in silence. The hostesses came back, said something to the guy (who obviously worked there and was off shift) and he left. One of the hostesses (same ones as the first time) asked us for our last name again. I hesitantly gave it and off we went. We were seated in the bar-area and our food took AGES to arrive. It was dead in the middle of the day (2-3pm) and although the waitress (who was also that same hostess) asked us if we were in a rush, that didn't mean we wanted to wait forever for our food. I had to flag down two different passer-by waitresses to find our waitress. There were a bunch of waitresses hanging around the bar talking, while we were waiting for quite a while. I understand that if the restaurant isn't busy, the staff doesn't need to be killing themselves, but at least tend to the people who ARE there! I had the half chicken, which was delicious. My husband's food was also good. But, it is really unlikely that I'll get my husband to go again, which makes me sad! I think the front-end of a restaurant sets the mood and if this only happened once, I'd have left it alone. However, this seemed like either a "when the dog's away, the cats play" type of thing or we just got unlucky twice.

I can't say enough about this place. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for healthy low calorie delicious options. Their martinis are made very well and served in a super frosted glass. For food, we tried the Ahi tuna, shrimp scampi and lobster flatbread as apps to start off. All were so delish! You really won't believe that most of these dishes are all under 500 calories. Moving onto our dinners, we shared the Sesame Salmon salad and the Scallops and wowsers again! I don't even think there was sauce left on our plates. We even ordered a couple of their mini desserts and same thing here, all taste and low calories. Service was top notch and all smiles. We never had a empty glass or plate for more than a minute. All in all, a great visit. We will be back!

I'll give this place 3 stars for the food and 1 star for the service. I've eaten here a half dozen times. I think I'm done for good. Here's what kills the place, the service. The servers are perfectly nice. It's just that the way this place is run absolutely blows my mind. I've never seen anything like it. In the 6 times I've eaten here, only once did our waiter come and greet our table. Instead in every other instance we have someone come take a drink order and then another person comes over later on and says they are our server. On 3 occasions I had somebody come to the table, take our order, and then our actual server came over to introduce herself. What?!?!?! On 3 occasions I'm greeted with cold stares as I reach the table in the front. I'm still waiting for one person to greet me warmly when I come in. The attitude of the women in the front absolutely sucks. Also, if you have dined here, have you noticed how managers and service staff walk around the dining area with no respect for the guests? I can't tell you how many times I've seen staff walk around with brown boxes filled with wine or other things. Really??? During dining service??? Another thing that strikes me about this place is how old the diners are. For some reason this location seems to be popular with the 60 and up crowd. I also hate the person singing at the bar. Oh my God, Why?!?! I'd rather have good music pumping in then someone attempting to sing at the bar. I honestly hate going here just for the service. I forgot to mention a few more things. I've had the weirdest experiences with the staff here. Once I placed a gift certificate along with a $100 bill in my check. The server used the $100 first to pay for my bill and then the remainder was put on my gift certificate. Seriously?!?!?! Let's talk about the food quick. I like the flatbreads a lot. The rest wavers from okay to good. I'm not wowed by anything else. The servers are pretty down low about the fact that lavash bread is available to you. I also feel the portions are really small. For the price I'm paying I should not be hungry if I opt to skip an appetizer. I hope this location really works on improving their service. They need people to greet guests warmly at the door. They need servers to greet guests promptly upon sitting down and not some random person who will come by to take drink orders. They need to cut down or get rid of the guy singing at the bar. And how about not walking through the dining area with service boxes? Please.

The Good: -It's ostensibly healthy. Every dish is under 475 calories. -Somehow, the scallop portion was still gigantic. Must've had 9 scallops on there. -Our server was so nice, and graciously put up with my family. -The tortilla soup. I liked it. The OK, I Guess: -Basically all the other food we ate. The Bad: -The cocktail I ordered. The "New Old Fashioned." I don't even know what was in it (they were definitely working with ingredients other than the ones listed), but there was a lot of liquid in a glass before they brought it to the table and then, tableside, poured a shot of bourbon into it. That is not how a good cocktail is made. The Ugly: -It took 45 minutes after seating before I got said cocktail. I'm at a dinner with my FAMILY, Seasons 52. I need liquor much faster than that.
Went for a dinner with my girlfriends. Delicious flatbreads, hummus dips and wine offerings. I had the filer with potatoes and asparagus, it was terrific, just the right size and I didn't feel super guilty given the calories are so low! We also tried the sampling desserts. I had the pecan pie with vanilla mouse...was warm and yummy. My friends seemed to like their dessert choices as well. I had the Meyer lemonade drink which was creative and delicious. Service was great, very attentive without being overbearing. Our server also made some really great recommendations when we couldn't make up our minds. I'd absolutely come back with the girls or on a date night.

52 reasons for being mediocre. If you are not their admission age of 52 you will feel out of place. There was a singer there who I asked the waiter, who repeatedly ignored my wife throughout the evening, if it was karaoke night only making the evening feel longer. If you want hotel food in a mall setting this is the place to go.

Tried this place on a whim. Had seen it opened but we never got around to going until now. The yelp ratings confuse me, as I found this place to be stellar. Jessica M. Was our server. And Wow. She killed it. She was spot on. The place was packed but she was so polite and on point. I was impressed. She delivered the kind of service that I wish every waiter/waitress would. Amazing! We did the fixed menu for restaurant week. It was 5 courses and had a great selection from the main menu, FOR only $33. Wow. The grilled flatbread (think thin crust pizza) was delicious. Covered in blackened steak, blue cheese and cremini mushrooms. Those are 3 of my favorite things. We split it between the two of us. Perfect app. Next was soup. Corn chowder for me. Spicy, with bacon and chives. Yumm. Loved that too. Third course was salad. Avocado and tomato with argula and a light balsamic drizzle. Not bad. Fresh, but something was missing. The main meal... Oak grilled Filet. Served with mashed potatoes and pea pods. The steak was cooked to perfection and tender enough to melt in your mouth. Could have sworn it was prime. Now I'm full... but then came these shot glasses of choices for dessert. I got key lime pie and raspberry cannoli. I was in heaven. Hard to find a good cannoli in these parts, but this was like the cannoli that grandma used to make. We will be back. Atmosphere was so nice. Romantic. Which was great for our date. A bit dark, but this isn't Chilis or Fridays. They have tons of wine to choose from. $10 flight can be added for the restaurant week fixed menu. Food was A+. Atmosphere was A. Service was A++.

Refreshing to find a restaurant that is healthy and serves as the name suggests seasonal foods. Winter menu includes root vegetables, beets and mushrooms. Flavorful and not heavy. Would recommend especially for those that are health conscious and want to dine out.

I've been here a couple of times and the quality and service were consistent. Overall, the food is good because it's fresh and seasonal. The prices are a bit high, but not over the top. I would expect these prices is Boston, not the burbs. I really enjoyed the Greek salad, as well as, the lobster pappardelle. My friends had the sea bass, and while the portion was small, the flavor was good. The service was prompt and friendly. There was a bit of an issue with my cocktail, but management addressed it immediately and with a smile. That's what bumped what would have been a 3 star review to a 4. Thanks for putting your customers first! Surprisingly, they have live music at the bar after 9 or 10. Enjoy!

Loved the ambiance, attentive waitstaff, presentation, quality of the food (fresh veggies), and most of all, the fact that everything on the menu is under 475 calories. I try to watch what I eat and going to most restaurants is somewhat difficult for me. I was delighted with the vegetarian choice I made. For someone with a hearty appetite, I would say the portions might be a bit skimpy, add a salad or appetizer and you will be all set. I can't wait to go back!!!

I went to Seasons 52 last night for my roommate's birthday. It was delicious, but if you are hungry, do not go to this restaurant. Her parents had made a 6:00 reservation for a Saturday night at the restaurant. We got there half an hour early and were seated right away, which was nice. The room that we sat in smelled a little funny. We couldn't tell if it was someone's food, or just a strange smell, but we were seated in a corner that didn't seem to smell too badly. The waitress was very attentive, and explained the menu to us. Everything on the menu is under 475 calories. The waitress said this was in the name of health. While I do appreciate their consideration, I would definitely prefer a menu with options in terms of calories. The servings were very small, and many of us were very hungry. When they brought out our food, they messed up four of the orders. Most of the issues were small (messing up sides that had been substituted), but my roommate's scallops were uncooked. Someone at our table talked to the waitress about it, and they were happy to bring out the correct dishes in a timely fashion, and even took the messed up meals off the bill, and offered us free dessert. I got the turkey skewers over farro seed and vegetables. It was very tasty, but not very filling. I ate the entire plate in under 10 minutes, and scraped it clean. They gave me a zinfandel barbecue glaze to dip the turkey in, but, in order to keep the meal under 475 calories, they only gave enough to cover about three bites. I would have wanted more - it was very good! All of the desserts come in shot glasses. They brought out an array of about 20, with many different options. I was excited, because I thought we got the whole tray, but we each only got one shot glass. It's strange how they do it: they come and show you each of the desserts, and then everyone picks one. By the time it was my turn, the one I was going to choose was gone. I wish they would just bring out a dessert menu and let each person order their choice. They have a very large wine selection, and have some cool drinks available. My roommate's father got a new old fashioned, which came with rock candy! There's a piano player in the front room, who plays and sings, and he's piped through the rest of the restaurant. It was great! Overall, the food was really tasty, and the service was nice even though they messed up our meals. I wish they would expand their menu to include dishes over 475 calories, but maybe this restaurant is for a specific type of person. Definitely give it a try, but don't go on an empty stomach!

I'd go 3.5. The mango jalapeno drink was tasty and they turned it into a martini for me which I appreciated. We hit the happy hour and got three of the $5 items, three decent seared scallops, two lamb lollipops and a decent tomato crostini. I then got the spinach bacon salad which was quite good sized and tasty. The lobster flatbread was decent altho not overly lobstery, about $8.95 and $15. The service wasn't great at all, had to ask a couple times for water, didn't check on our food, nice enough but spacy. And having the piano player right there behind the bar was kind of weird. I personally am not a fan of live music while eating and found it distracting. But the menu looks really interesting and I'd like to try more things, and it's a bonus that they're not laden with fat.

Was here for a friend's event. The food especially the burger and salmon were amazing. The service was perfect and their sample desserts were delicious. Have to talk about the coffee. Had a cappuccino. It hit on my 3rd sip. Very good caffeinated drink. Can't wait to go back.

I like a defining experience that allows me to be confident I am writing an accurate review. I am sorry to say that I've had completely polarizing experiences at Seasons 52. Either the service is spot on, or the service has been completely terrible and slow. My excellent experience was spent at the bar with my brother ordering the wine sampler and some appetizers and flatbreads one evening. The bartender was great - answered my questions and provided apt recommendations with timely service. The other two times I've been sitting with larger parties at tables in the lounge. I've had a completely unapologetically slow and negligent server who among some other slip ups, didn't bring out our appetizer by the time we got out food, and then just asked if we still wanted it completely nonchalant without an apology. Another time, we were being served at our booth by the bartender who despite his efforts, couldn't balance out his duties, although he was nice enough. What I do like about Seasons 52 is that they provide healthy, high-quality food that you don't have to feel guilty about later. If you can, I just suggest you sit at the bar for the best service.

It really wants to be fine dining. It's not. The best comparison one could make would be to that of an upscale Cheesecake Factory. Service is polite and friendly. Definitely an older crowd. Perhaps their name is derived from the fact that most diners are well over the minimum age of 52. The shot glass desserts are cute. Not the worst. Not my choice.

Took mom out for lunch on Mother's day. We decided to try the new Season's 52 location in Chestnut Hill. I figured I could treat her to a good meal and then let her explore the new Wegman's. The service was ok. I am not sure if it was due to the weather, or that the staff is new (and young) but it just felt "off". It seemed like folks didn't have any energy or something. Anyway I will let it pass this time. To the food. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Pesto flatbread to share. It was very tasty and light. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. For the main courses we ordered the Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon, the Wood Roasted Pork Tenderloin & Portobello, and the Honey & Herb Roasted Chicken. The Salmon was delicious. It had a nice charred crust that was smokey and juicy. The veggies seemed a big chewy but overall the dish was great. The pork was tender and full of juices. The polenta wasn't as good as I have had in other places and was almost forgettable. The chicken was excellent - it was very juicy and had enough flavor but wasn't over powered by anything else. The mashed potatoes had the rich taste of grilled garlic. Overall the experience was good but it wasn't as rememberable as the experiences I have had at their Burlington location. This may be due to being led by such a young staff but I hope they get things in gear. This area has many fine restaurants nearby and I can imagine the competition will heat up quickly.

We came here last night with my in-laws to celebrate my wife's and my birthday. We had a 6:00 reservation and arrived late, as is our way, but her folks had already arrived and been seated. The room is nice - modern but with lot of dark wood. The bar area is separate, but the acoustics are difficult, as it was hard to hear conversation without really leaning in and/or raising our voices. Everyone else ordered wine, and I had to settle for my third choice beer (Mayflower IPA) as my first two (Notch Session Saison and Green Flash West Coast IPA) had apparently just been kicked. My wife and I split a goat cheese ravioli, which was tasty, if small. The appetizers are definitely not meant to be shared - they are small, in line with their healthy eating, low-cal philosophy. Long after we finished it, my in-laws' salads came out - hers first, then his. He had ordered a Caprese salad and was delivered a beet salad, which he ate because he didn't want to wait for the waitress to come back, and then begin the whole process again. The service was friendly, but not terribly attentive. I never heard our server's name as she was very soft-spoken and the room was loud. I think the noise probably also helped her mess up my father in law's salad order. The entrees were better. My wife and mother in law each ordered the grilled scallops with butternut squash risotto. The scallops were good, but the risotto was a little gummy/dried out. My father in law reported an unenthusiastic "good" when asked how his shrimp cavatappi was. My venison was well-cooked; the sweet potatoes were delicious and the broccolini was tasty. However, much like the scallops, everything just felt a little bit dry. I think their "under 475 calories" philosophy prevents them from adding sauces or glazes to a lot of their dishes, and the food, while good, doesn't reach its full potential for that reason. I like their dessert strategy - arrive with a tray of mini dessert shots that don't look overwhelming and provide a nice sweet cap to the meal. I had a chocolate peanut butter dessert, very tasty. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back there, but if someone planned an event there I wouldn't talk them off of it. Too many really good options in the area, however.

We went there last night, the food was ok but the service was awful, terrible; we waited one hour for our dinner and 30 minutes for the check, the service it is disorganized.

My first time at Seasons 52 and can't wait to go back. Service was top-notch at every level, entry to exit. Food was delicious. I don't get the comments about portions being skimpy or the slams on the service. Flatbreads, salads, entrees, desserts, all hit the spot for all 4 of us who ate dinner that night. It was a mixed crowd, younger and older people, not just older as one of the comments stated. Our server was exceptional. Overall an easy 5 stars.

This is a New restaurant. Hands down, great food and service! The server that served was very relaxed, she transcended her relaxed attitude to us, and my father ended up buying a bottle of wine. The food was hot and that is always a plus for me because I hate cold food. The appetizers were e great and the the food overall was delicious, healthy and light! This restaurant will get very far if they continue with their great service, great food and the price range.

Had such high expectations, never coming here again. The staff was terrible , I mean don't get me wrong this is not Applebee's , therefore staff should be at a higher standard. Me and my wife came in for dinner, and we're told our table is getting its finishing touches. In a few minutes we were called up and naught to a table. My wife ordered a glass of merlot and the waiter returned few minutes later and poured my wife a glass, I instantly noticed it wasn't red and asked her why she didn't say anything. We ordered duck wing lollipops and a flatbread pizza to start. Our food came with no plates so we sat there for few minutes asked another waiter for plates. Then another server for forks knifes and napkins . The fuck wing lollipops were awful . Then our main course came and they took the appatizer plates along with fork and knife . We're waiting again and got forks napkins from another waiter. Then some 10ft tall guy came by and hovered over our table till we stopped our convo and looked up at him. He wanted to know how everything was but he was creepy because he wasn't really confident , shouldn't have that job and was just straight up creepy . After a few minutes our waiter came out put his hand on my wives plate and asked "you done" . Needless to say she wasn't done but was now. Then a few minutes later the waiter came to our table with every dessert they have on the menu in a big tray , he looked like the peanut guy at Fenway . I asked for the check and gave him my credit card he returned with the bill and we waited another ten minutes to get a pen from another waiter . The food was okay the atmosphere was nice but the waiter and the 10ft guy ruined everything. I wish I could get my money back never coming here again I rather go to Applebee's .

Had a wonderful dinner here. The menu is full of fresh and healthy options yet you don't feel like you aren't indulging. The filet was great as well as the hummus appetizer. They also have mini desserts which are fun and give you just enough sweet. I will definitely be coming back!

Went to Seasons 52 on a Friday night before a hockey game at Boston College. Overall, we had a pretty good experience. The menu is all local and sustainable food that is tasty and pretty healthy. The scallops (with butternut risotto) was phenomenal. The pomegranate margarita martini was pretty delicious (and strong) too. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay for dessert but it looks pretty amazing. The restaurant is pretty big and there were several open tables at 6pm on a Friday night but I suggest making a reservation if you can.

Seasons 52 is a chain. There's no crime in that, by my reckoning. This particular chain gives you a sit-down meal without the excess. The plates are purportedly under 500 calories and the food is seasonal (in other words, relatively fresh). I have visited two different Seasons 52 restaurants. The staff was polite. The food was solid. The menu varied, as they claimed that it would. I am a fan. I will go here when my less adventurous friends are in tow and worry less about excess butter often hidden in restaurant food.

Since my first review, I've been here probably six times, and it's lost a star in the interim. The food is inconsistent and the service is poor more often than not. We keep coming back because the menu has so many interesting choices on it- this is one of the few places where I order a different entree every time, and I like that the menu changes every few months. About half of the time, my dinner has been bland and disappointing; but the other half of the time, it's flavorful and delicious. They seem to do a good job with salmon and flatbreads. I will say, the portions are always perfect- the meals might be low-calorie, but it's not the equivalent of those 100-calorie cookie packs where you get five chocolate-scented wafers instead of Oreos. The desserts are also delicious and perfectly sized for one person. But the service... Sometimes it's really, really bad. It's very common for the waitstaff to not come over to your table when you first sit down for 10-15 minutes, sometimes longer. There are sometimes mistakes in the orders- people's entrees getting forgotten or delayed- and the waitstaff is often nowhere to be found when this happens. No one is particularly friendly- they're all sort of aloof and chilly. The hosts tend to make you feel a little awkward if you don't have a reservation- shouldn't they be welcoming to people who walk in wanting dinner considering that there are almost always open tables? Also, once, my husband and I were having dinner and a big group of women came over to us to ask if they could have our table when we were done- oh my god, hosts, this is your job, make sure that random people aren't bothering the people paying to eat there and making them feel pressured to leave quickly!! They have live music during dinner- singers who accompany themselves on piano- who are generally good, but not fantastic. They should probably work out a deal with Berklee. We'll be back here again, but considering that dinners here aren't particularly cheap unless you just order an entree, I really, really wish that the service and food could be more consistent.

So I wish I had read this other reviews: 1. It's called Seasons 52 for the 52 weeks of the year because the menu changes constantly and they use food that is in season (cool) 2. All the meals have under 500 calories (or something like that) so one can expect such food to not have the same oily/buttery/fatty flavor of full flavored restaurants. That said the food is meh. BUT the ambiance is really good. The service is good. If you have a party (or 12 or less) reserve the chef's table. It's an area that can closed off and they take a picture--super cute. Honestly, not to sound sexist, but is a place for girls. Great ambiance for ladies night, food leaves a lot to be desired. If I went back I would get the flatbreads as they had a nice thin crust and were good.

We came in yesterday for an 8:30 reservation. From the moment we walked in, we weren't acknowledged or greeted by the hostess. She refused to make any eye contact with us. A couple walked in after us and abruptly just started barking their reservation to her before asking us if we had been assisted. The hostess doesn't even flinch to ask us if we had a reservation and immediately helps the other couple. She then tells them it'll be a few moments and walks away. We had to wait another 5 minutes before the hostess came back and again, no eye contact or greeting. I had to actually get her attention to even look up at me. Notified her of our reseevation and she let us know they would check on the table. Another 5-10 minutes of waiting around before someone finally sat us. Being it was NYE, it was busy but manageable from the outside looking in. However after we settled in our chairs, our server came over and from the very beginning, it was clear it would be a long night. She seemed to have lacked experience due to her taking our orders for drinks in pieces, 4 of us, then walk asay to come back 5 minutes later to take the other 8 drink orders. Coming back with the drinks she completely passed them all out wrong and we all had to exchange. My friend ordered the pineapple martini and another ordered a Cosmo, but yet when we asked if she gave us the wrong drinks, she said " oh I don't know, what did you order again? No that's fine..." But they quickly realized they had the wrong drinks. Again, she was unphased by these mistakes. When I asked if we could put in appetizers, she looked at me and said yes, but then as I am about to place our side of the tables apps, she goes "oh I need to start on the other side.." And walks away. She eventually makes it back to our side and we order and ask if we should place our entrees too and she said "if you want" and only takes my sisters entree order. I also have a nut allergy and made sure to tell her when we placed our app order, but she looked at me, said ok and never once made any comments about it. Working in the service industry for years, allergies are not taken lightly and all restaurants I've worked at usually has someone who will come to the table and acknowledge they are aware of it. This did not happen. We had to make it clear my sisters entree wasn't coming out before everyone's since she didn't take anyone else's order until 5 minutes later. The food came out, and it was okay. Nothing to rave about. We knew coming here the biggest thing to be aware of was the calories. Appetizers tasted decent, we got the flatbreads. Our entree was the pork tenderloin and the caramelized scallops. Both very good. When our server came around to see if we wanted another round of drinks, she didn't ask me at all, and my sister said "no thank you" but for some reason the server still dropped off a drink. She felt bad letting her know she did not ask for a second so kept it. Finally, what no one at the table liked was how she presented the dessert. She came over and put a. Tower of mini desserts on the table, quickly ran thorough them, said I'll get spoons and walked away. No one knew how much they were. A friend thought they were free and went to grab for one. When we decided we didn't want dessert and the server came back, my friend says, "we are all set, we don't want dessert" and she responded with "ugh really?? Well you'll have it next time" and doesn't give him a spoon but proceeds to pass them along to everyone else. My other friend asks her "how does this work? We are a bit confused. Is this part of our meal?" And she just says "no they are 3.75 each" and walks away. These desserts have now sat at our table for 15 minutes, no one touching them and she returns to see we haven't had it. We again tell her we weren't having dessert and she rolls her eyes at the table and says she will grab the check. At this point, we are all a bit annoyed and concerned that the dessert was just sitting there and how it has probably been passed around all night to other tables and sat there for just as long. Gross. Overall, entrees were good but small which is to be expected. Service was terrible and probably the reason I wouldn't return. From the hostess to the server, no one was attentive at all. Didn't seem to care I had a nut allergy. Our drinks and meals were getting swapped because she couldn't keep track of who ordered what. I am hoping she was newer because as a manager, I would be embarrassed to have someone serving a table in this manner. I really hope they step up their game for future guests.

My girlfriend and I love the Seasons 52 brand and visiting the chestnut hill location maintained our affection. Tiana was attentive and friendly, and knew to do things like comp our dessert when they were out of what we wanted. We always love the scallops and I got the cedar salmon which hit the spot. I recommend going and asking to have dessert at the bar so you can enjoy the piano singing.

In short: great food, poor service! We had very short notice for our reservation, kinda decided on the fly, called around 6 for a 7pm. The person who answered the phone insisted that we provide an email to confirm our reservation. For what? We were obviously heading there already. Well, we got there and there was no wait. Some of the other reviews gave us a little warning about that already. We were seated and it was like the waitress didn't know we were there. She walked back and forth serving other tables and finally ~15 mins later "oh mr -, I'll be around if you need anything" nice that she called us by name, but seriously? What's her name if I need her? -1/2 a star. We ordered and the food took a few mins longer than expected. Whatever. It was soooooo good. 5 stars, 6 if I could. We finished the appetizers and waited for our entrees. We waited. And waited. -1 star. And waited. -another star. Where is my food. Finally, the food comes. It's delicious! Ok, worth the wait, but only +1. We finish and again, we had to wait for our dessert. Oh we were tired of waiting for sure. She brings the bill after she drops off our desserts. Of course no waiting for that. She takes the bill to swipe the card but comes back 2 seconds later. "Oh I forgot to add in your desserts, so if you could check the new payment"......what????? Well of course we said ok. Then she brings everything back, without a pen. What am I supposed to sign with? The chocolate from my dessert? By now, it's clear I've had enough. Their food is great, but it'd be nice if they trained their staff =\ it definitely ruined it for the good food they make.

friendly staff with great service. Food has been surprisingly good. Had the rack of lamb and at second visit the entree chicken salad - yummy....still thinking about that delicious salad. They have a menu that changes constantly. Very health conscious, sizes aren't too big or small yet still share-able. Great individual sized desserts in shot glasses - perfect way to end any meal!

Hubby and I stopped in this place out of the blue. We sat at the bar. Here is our experience! Decor: Very dark and wood everywhere. I instantly thought of my parents when we walked in. It has that old/parents/grandparents vibe. ( we are in our late 20s) Drinks: Really great! Though our bartender had to ask another bartender to make our drinks because she was "new" ...huh ok. The wine list is pretty expansive! Service: A bit slow. Live music every night at the bar. Meh. He was ok. It was odd where he was standing as essentially his back was to the rest of the bar? All in all I think we will go back and give the food a try! Great addition to chestnut hill!

Wow, I'm really surprised about all of the bad reviews! I have been 6 times and have thoroughly enjoyed each experience. My favorite dish is the scallops. It comes with 7 scallops on top of a lemon risotto with peas and about 5-6 stalks of asparagus. The chicken is really good as well. Both dishes didn't look or taste like "diet" dishes. I have also had the lobster flat bread special that the waitress raved about but didn't think it was that great. The strawberry basil cocktail was awesome though! The service here has been over the top. Very good service. Their friendliness and energy comes on strong. One thing I didn't appreciate was that I felt like they push the desserts. The desserts are in tall shot glasses displayed on a rack which they bring to the table. They immediately put a doily on the table and a dessert spoon on top of that while they go into the dessert spiel. I feel like that is kind of pushy. I understand that they most likely do it because once a customer sees the dessert on the table then they are more likely to order one? I got one once and enjoyed it, but I am a big eater and a shot glass of dessert is not enough. Especially at $3 a pop. For double the price I could get a regular sized dessert about 3X the size of the shot glass. Or at least go across the parking lot for fro-yo. Also, they're Seasons 52 because there are 52 weeks in a year and their menu is seasonal... but also because they have over 52 types of wine you can get by the glass! I didn't think that was true but asked my server the last time I was there and she confirmed it.

A chain restaurant that doesn't feel like a chain Had dinner with another couple at Seasons 52. Wonderful female singer with electric keyboard at the bar and the bar scene looked very energetic. Our server was friendly and efficient. Started with the tuna and avocado sushi roll- this was really really good. Both my wife and I loved the creamy texture with the accompanying ginger and wasabi. Highly recommended. I had the mahi mahi which was blackened and cooked perfectly. Nice crust but not burned with delicious mashed sweet potatoes. The scallops were perfectly seared and had a great flavor. Dessert was a deconstructed cannoli in a shot glass. The cannoli cream was wonderful and we loved the "right sized" desserts, All in all a great evening.

The only reason I did not give them a 5 star is because the hostess' face looks like she step in dog poop. Very unfriendly and no smile with very low-energy tone. Other than that, my experience was very good for my first time. My waiter, Mike was excellent. Very friendly, detailed at explaining the menu items, professional and very attentive. He was also easy on the eyes, which helps. Food was excellent, flavorful but not overly salty. I had the seared scallops with butternut squash risotto, delicious! Dessert I had the Belgium chocolate s'more...delicious! For people that complained about portion sizes, you are obviously stupid. Please stop expecting quantity, but focus on quality. But most Americans only know 'bigger is better'...very pathetic.

The first ever experience at a Seasons 52 was atleast 8 years ago down in Florida. I know we ate food, but to this day, all I can remember having was their desserts in shot glasses. Perfect portions that hit the spot. So when I saw this was opening in my neck of the woods, excited doesn't even begin to describe. I gave them a few weeks before I came in for a meal. Their food is excellent and knowing that it isn't loaded with calories, you can feel less guilty about stuffing your face. My friend and I got their lobster flatbread, and thai curry mussels. The mussels were so fresh and it was a nice change from the usual white wine broth, the coconut curry was delicious. for my entree I got the salmon, cooked perfectly and the carrots, potatoes and roasted beets were awesome. My friend got the pan seared scallops with pearl pasta and it looked great! Highlight of the meal...has to be dessert of course!! I love how they come out with a tray of all the dessert and right after the explaining is done..that's if you can sit through it, you get to pick right from the tray what you want for dessert. Don't let the small portion fool you. we chose 4 kinds and it was a struggle to eat them all. I would most definitely come back here. I love the decor, it's upscale modern and yet comfortable and cozy.

DINERS WITH FOOD ALLERGIES BEWARE!!!! I came here for a family dinner - we'd been here a few times before and while the gluten free & dairy free menus don't have a ton of options, I've managed to be ok. Came here for lunch today, and despite my careful and explicit order, they served me both gluten and diary. To be specific, they said they left the pesto off my chicken because it had dairy but it was hidden under the tomatoes. And there are two types of potatoes, one is gluten free and the other is not, they served me the ones that were prepared in the shared fryer with other gluten items. I get sick but thankfully don't have to go to the hospital or take other extreme measures. The manager took my items off the bill but was not very apologetic and did not understand the magnitude of her server's mistake. Be careful, very very careful when eating here. We're never going again.

We just had a graduation party for my son with 17 people, including one vegan, three vegetarians, and one person with a dairy allergy. The restaurant was fantastic - everyone felt like they had excellent choices and were served quality food that was well presented. Flatbreads, fish, tofu, filet mignon, etc all well prepared and nice sized portions. The wine list is very good and very fairly priced. But best of all was the service. Attentive, responsive, friendly, accommodating and they gave us great advice on the menu. It's not often you can have a flawless dinner for 17 people - Seasons 52 nailed it tonight. We are fans.

I just came home from a wonderful Birthday Celebration at Seasons 52. From the time we walked in was treated like we were totally special! Never been there before. Came home to see what was on line. Totally disagree with all the negativity. I like to say at my age and having gone out to dinner a lot, I know good food, great service, and can not wait to return. Ella our server made my birthday beyond special. Nick made sure we were seated in a very timely fashion as we did not have a reservation. Wine, appetizer, and dinner beyond delicious. Everything is made with all fresh vegetables and fish. This can be seen immediately, if one knows the difference and enjoys good food made well. Dessert was fun and double expresso soooooooooooooo good. We asked Ella if her manager would come out for a minute. This is a Friday night. No reservation. We told David Bromberg the managing partner, first time and will return many times and also tell folks to go. After reading some of these reviews I would think I had been in a totally different restaurant. GO YOU WILL ENJOY. LOVED IT.

Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Eddie V's Prime Seafood, The Capital Grille and Yard House all owned by the Darden Restaurants Inc....start there. Had guests in from out of town who wanted to catch up over a meal. We reserved a - quiet - table away from any bar and confirmed with the manager Fred. "Not to worry, ask for me when you arrive." We arrived on a weekday evening and were told the only booths available were in the bar. Fred? He was out at the moment. Someone arrived stating they were the Manager. After making the case about reserving a quiet booth, we were told one was being cleared it would take 10 - 12 minutes. Another 15 minutes and we did get seated in a 6-8 person booth - quiet though. Ahhhh, peace after 25 - 30 minutes. Someone arrives, announcing THEIR name...I have 4 guests I want to talk to ... now I have a new friend. OK , OK - there are specials, water arrives - glasses spotty, wine arrives with a 'tasting' a plus etc...... after ordering. We settled into some comfortable conversation interrupted again and again by the servers with questions ... tastings, 52 menus, calories on and how 'we doin here folks'....where's that comin from??? Actually, if they were better managed and trained, the rating would be 4 stars. The food was right up there with 5 star white table cloth establishments. But to be asked on more than one occasion by our servers to pass our plate, glass, utensils to them - rather than their having quietly taken them away ...c'ome on that's when I'm spending $12 per person - not $50+...makes it the Olive Garden experience all over. Not again.

Went there for a birthday dinner. They were very nice and we had no issues with the reservations. The place was busy but we were able to still hear each other. The service was ok- the waitress was good but the food was slow. Great birthday additions; they took a picture of our party and put it in a frame as part of the birthday party. Nice! The price was high but expected and the food was good. The portions were appropriate sized.

Just a terrible experience. First of all, it's a bad sign when the waitstaff carries flashlights. Sure enough, the restaurant was ridiculously dark. We're not talking romantic here - we're talking take out your iPhone and turn on the flashlight so you can read the menu! Service was inattentive. The waiters and waitresses seemed not to have been trained in the basic principle - keep an eye on your tables! Twice during the meal - each time after waiting 10-15 minutes - I needed to ask someone to find our waitress. (At the end of our meal, even though we were the only customers left in the restaurant, the waitress was cleaning tables twenty feet away from us rather than bringing us our bill.) Some of the service, such as bringing around the dessert tray, seems to be by tag-team. That's fine - places such as Legal do that reasonably well. But as far as I could tell, our waitress never bothered to tell the dessert guy that we were done with dinner. So, once again, we sat twiddling our thumbs until I got up and asked someone to have the dessert guy come over. The food was perfectly fine. Not spectacular, but above average. And the little dessert shots were tasty without being too guilt inducing. But sitting in the dark and having such inattentive, indifferent service will make me hesitant to go there again.

A really nice bar layout - large yet not feeling crowded. The dinner portions are smaller - true to a lower cal focus on the menu - although quite tasty! They even had a pianist on Fri night for some fun music!

Had dinner last night. My friend and I both ordered fish dishes. Everything was outstanding from the service, to the food, the atmosphere and the valet parking. The pricing was also very reasonable. The server was very helpful in making wine recommendations for my friend, and the Bloody Mary, sans liquor for me was perfect. We selected this restaurant for its location near the area hospital district, as there are few restaurants within that vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised. A reservation is a must.

I wanted to try Seasons 52 because it is new to the neighborhood. I had heard mixed reviews, but try to form my own opinion. I did. It is basically a chain restaurant. It is large and noisy. The service was attentive and friendly, although the server tried to clear the table before I was finished eating. The food was mediocre. Not very flavorful. The best was snow peas with sesame and marcona almond and a light sauce. The sushi was totally lacking in flavor. The chef came over at one point and apologized for the wait and said that dessert was on him. We did get dessert and it was on the bill! With all the new restaurants in Chestnut Hill, I wish there was one that was not a chain.

Really enjoy the ambience, food, piano player, wine and cocktails! However, bartenders are not very attentive. More concerned with side work and digging stuff out of their purse or hang at the servers end of the bar than checking in with patrons. An amendment to this review. Warren is awesome!

We went in at 8:40 and were told we would be seated at 9:15. They were out of the wine I wanted so I took their recommended wine and my boyfriend ordered a Grapefruit martini that he said was great. We ordered an appetizer and drinks at the bar while we waited. Lobster tail was excellent but the hummus duo was blah. The bread it came with was way too salty and the duo did not pair well together. The bartenders never checked on us after the appetizer was served. 9:35 we checked on our table, were told it would be a few minutes. 9:55 the bartender finally checked on us so we decided to order food. Ten minutes later we were finally seated but not in the nice dining section, rather eight feet away in the "lounge area" aka the booths surrounding the bar. Ordered the maple half chicken and the filet medium. I ordered a second glass of wine while my boyfriend ordered a corona. Wine came, but she told us they were checking if they had any corona left. Finally came back and told us they did have corona but that it was warm and they were out of chilled glasses, so he ordered something else. Filet was cooked medium well not medium, and it was smothered in a mediocre gravy over lousy mashed potatoes (I've had better mashed potatoes at the Rotisserie place down the street). Overall it was just ok. Maple chicken was god awful. We ordered a delicious maple half chicken at The Fireplace a few weeks ago that was absolutely amazing! This place sucked. The maple glaze tasted nothing like maple. Tasted like mustard. It was served over mashed potatoes with a side of undercooked carrots and... More potatoes? Why? My boyfriend refused to send it back. Dessert was also mediocre. Great, less than 300 cals, I've still had better frozen dessert at Trader Joes than the rocky road and mocha macchiato we ordered. I would NOT go here again.

I actually really like this place! We've been here 4-5 times and almost every time the food has been great and it's an added bonus that they keep everything under 500 calories :) The flatbreads are awesome and I love the fact the desserts are served in individual shot glasses and you can take them upon ordering as opposed to waiting for it. The only downside is the hosts aren't the most friendly and there is always a wait (even on a Tuesday night there was an hour wait!) so make sure to make reservations in advance. For a chain, I absolutely recommend this place!

This place has these mini desserts that you have to try. We came here just for some tea and had a great time on a regular Tue evening....the place was very busy and there is a good reason for that - great atmosphere and great food. Also, we wanted to send personal Thank You to Ben who was an awesome waiter - we will definitely return soon!

They failed to honor the reservation on Open Table, waited 25 minutes as others were seated. Then waited 47 minutes for the meal to be served. Management made a serious mistake: large family group was seated, 15 4-person tables set up as two long runs (2 persons each) on a Saturday night, many small children running around, family taking many flash photographs indiscriminately. Then the birthday celebration started. We could not hear one another at our table of 4. Of course the large family occupied the main dining room for an overly long time and dominated the kitchen and the wait staff. One of our party got cold chicken!

Decent place - very comfortable and expansive with scenic views of Route 9. it definitely feels like a chain - I wish there were more fireplaces throughout the restaurant. I like the menu, the price is reasonable, and the waitstaff is extra friendly. I ordered the trout on recommendation and a lobster flatbread to start. I appreciate that everything is under 475 calories :) The trout was a decent piece of fish but they over-grilled it so it was kind of tough. I feel like the food is just mediocre. It makes me upset because good food can be "lower" calorie...so that's not an excuse. I think they just need better recipes. Didn't see the parsley in the roasted potatoes, and didn't love the mustard sauce. The steamed carrots were excellent. Altogether, there needed to be more "season"ing ironically...more flavor! Enjoyed the dark chocolate raspberry dessert bite :)

I've been to this place three times now. I wouldn't say the food is anything to write home about, but it is low calories and has some nice seating (plenty of booths which is always nice). This place is trying to be upscale but it is very clearly a chain and that fake, pretentious vibe sort of sticks with you. It is also a bit dark in there and I think the ambiance tends to resonate more with the older crowd. The food, like I said earlier is nothing spectacular, but it is healthier than most chain restaurants and everything is under, I believe, 500 calories. The first time I went I had the salmon which was okay. Not the best ever, but it was fine. The second time I went I had the scallops and I think it was risotto which was good. And the last time I went I had the duck lettuce wrap which wasn't good. I love duck, but the spicy sauce had a VERY strong flavor that overpowered the duck so you couldn't taste any of the wrap itself. I ate one of the three mini wraps, took the rest to-go, and ended up just throwing them away. I suppose the okay, good, then bad food averages out to about okay-ish food depending on what you get. One thing they could work on though is their service. The wait staff always seems to be quite slow even when they aren't busy. I went there midday on a Thursday for lunch with a friend (there were probably only about 4-5 other tables occupied) and it took AGES for us to get a check after our waitress cleared the table. We told her we were in a bit of a rush when she took our plates, but she took a good 10-15min to come back with our check. It took a while for them to seat us as well when we arrived even though there was practically no one in the restaurant and two girls standing at the front desk. They just aren't the most organized. Something else I noticed (at least the first time I ate here) was that after they clear your plates, they come back with this little model of their mini deserts and a flashlight (because it is SO dark in there) and they go through the, I don't know, 8 different deserts options, highlighting each one with the flashlight as they go. They then place deserts spoons in front of you and ask you which one you would like. I found this to be sort of off-putting and presumptuous. They don't ask you if you would LIKE desert, they just bring out the plastic model and try to sell it to you, and you have to sit there and listen to the whole spiel and then politely decline after ALL that. It just feels so gimmicky and contrived, but I guess you sort of have to expect a bit of this when you visit chain restaurants.

Seasons 52 was a disappointment. I went because the location was convenient to meet a friend, but I wouldn't return. It was obvious that far more effort was put into marketing than into the actual food. Seasons 52 makes a big deal of using fresh, seasonal ingredients but the execution fails. We shared a flatbread, a roasted squash dish, roasted brussels sprouts, and stuffed mushrooms. The roasted vegetables were underseasoned and overcooked to the point of being dried out. I actually made a point to comment to our waiter about this and was told that because they monitor the caloric content of their meals, they can't add additional butter or oil and therefore sometimes the vegetables can be on the dry side. I'm all for seeking healthier cooking methods, but not at the cost of serving bad food!

I'm surprised this place doesn't get more love here. The food is delicious, and plated beautifully. I also LOVE how they cap the calories and you can choose what looks good based on your mood, and not on how much it's going to affect your diet. I don't love that it doesn't have more intimate seating, but the food and service really make up for it.

I can't see this place surviving for very long. I first was introduced to Season's 52 down in Atlanta where the food was great. Here, however, it was a different story. 1) Lunch time was rather dead, and the majority of the customers were 6 months away from death. Very old scene. 2) It is neither trendy nor inviting - its very dark in there, and a bit tacky. 3) The food looks and tastes like a five year old kid made it, only he didn't make the cut for MasterChef Junior. Such a shame. 4) The burger did not arrive with the stated "mushrooms." This place has a hard time incorporating a culture and menu that works with the so called "less than 475 calories" a dish.

I love this place every time I have gone with friends or family great food and good service. I love the fact that I am aware of the calories I am consuming. I wish other places would follow.

We had a great family dinner here tonight. Service was very attentive, and the food was clearly top notch. We loved the fact that almost every dish was healthy yet fulfilling. The kids loved the flatbread and the grown ups enjoyed the quails, rainbow trout, and the shrimp pasta. We will definitely be back.

Went with my father for a Sunday lunch and was mournfully underwhelmed. The list of wines seemed impressive (though I know nothing about wine) and the restaraunt was very pretty which saved it from a one star review. My father described his food as adequate, mentioning that he had had a better salad at the Panera next door earlier in the week. My burger was actually distasteful, not only being other than described but also being more or less unseasoned on a burnt bun. The potato wedges I had on the side were overcooked and a few were burnt as well. I live nearby and had high hopes but beyond the interest of the gimmick that it brings with its 475 calories and lots of wine I don't see why anyone would pay 40$ for Seasons 52 when they could spend 22$ at Panera

I've been to another Seasons 52 location elsewhere and knew I loved the food, so I was so excited that a location popped up in Newton! I took my fiance there for a birthday dinner and had a much less satisfying experience than I had in the past. We were seated promptly, but the hostess walked us around the dining room to the wrong table, then looked around confused before finally putting us at the correct table. After she walked away, she came back a few seconds later to hand us a birthday card for my fiance, which was nice. We were given our menus by and placed our drink & appetizer order with a waitress, but about five minutes later, a waiter came to our table and asked us for our drink order. We told him we placed it with someone else and he hesitantly chuckled and said he'd look into our drinks. The drinks were served by the first waitress, but then after another 10 minutes our waiter came and took our meal order. The waiter was also the one who served our appetizer and was with us the rest of the night. Our meals arrived in a good amount of time and we were warned that our plates were hot. Mine wasn't hot... and neither was my meal. The risotto had cooled enough that it had congealed into a dense, room-temperature lump. The menu said my risotto was supposed to have chorizo in it, but I didn't find a single piece of chorizo at all. My grilled shrimp, which was the warmest feature of my dish, was definitely under-cooked. I ate the thinnest parts of each shrimp (closest to the tail) because they were actually pink; the fatter ends looked like they were still translucent so I put them aside. (The lighting is very low so it was hard to tell; I didn't want to risk it, though.) My fiance, however, loved his chicken entree and the mashed potatoes that came with it. We ordered two of the mini-dessert "shots" each and they were really really excellent - finally something that reminded me of the good experiences I've had at Seasons 52 in the past! We were offered water with our desserts... and I wondered why we weren't given water when we were seated nearly an hour before. Our waiter gave us our check and I quickly put down a $25 gift card with some cash to cover the rest. Then... we waited... and waited... and waited... We saw our waiter talking with another waiter at the register, then he'd go to the bar, then he'd disappear. So we continued to wait... and wait. FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER, he was serving wine to a table nearby and I flagged him down, asking him for our change and for our receipt. We waited more than five minutes before he finally returned with our receipt. The receipt was messed up (said that we paid the exact amount and got zero money back, which wasn't true) but at least we were given the right amount of change. We put down our tip and left, even though our waiter never once said goodbye or wished us a good evening. Overall, this was a barely-mediocre experience. Our drinks were well-made... but that was pretty much it. Our waiter was such a quiet talker that we couldn't understand half of what he said. We heard other waitstaff telling tables of the daily specials, but neither our original waitress or our waiter told us what the specials were. Two other tables had birthdays as well, and employees sang "Happy Birthday", but they didn't do this for us. And, the INCREDIBLY SLOW service paired with my cold, under-cooked dish just capped off the evening as a not-so-great one. We will not return to this Seasons 52 location until they up the quality of their service and food to that which I've experienced at other locations.

I had a great meal here. I guess it's luck of the draw? I went with a large party, to celebrate a friend's birthday. We started with a Grilled Garlic Pesto Chicken Flatbread, which was delicious, and I had a hard time believing it was less than 475 calories, as it tasted pretty rich and buttery. There were a number of appealing menu items, and I became less and less skeptical about the whole restricted calorie theme as I perused the menu. I had the roasted chicken, which came with mixed veggies (broccoli rabe, mushrooms, asparagus, peas) and mashed potatoes. It was moist and flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. For dessert, the mini carrot cake was yummy too, perhaps a little too sweet with a little too much frosting. The Cucumber Basil Smash cocktail was refreshing and mixed well. The restaurant has a very high-end feel, with swanky decor and staff who go above-and-beyond to demonstrate that they're happy to be there. They also have a live pianist at the bar. Loved the fountain, the gas fireplace with stones, the oversized lampshades. I'm looking forward to going back!

I had been looking forward to trying Seasons 52. I had higher hopes for this place! The room is very nice and inviting. The parking was easy - all set me up for disappointment... The server started off by telling us they didn't serve bread because it is unhealthy. Then they offered us a flatbread as an appetizer! Huh? Then we joked around with the waitress and asked for bread, which she eventually brought to us with olive oil. The whole under 475 calories is a total gimmick because they serve little tiny amounts of food. I had the flat iron steak salad. Not only was it cold, but it was four tiny pieces of meat! My husband had the salmon - it was better than the flat iron. Dessert is literally served in a shot glass at $2.50. It was good, but tiny. We left hungry. Seriously. Oh, and it wasn't cheap except for the shot glass dessert of which we should have ordered several. Our waitress was terrible. We would make requests (water, knife, sweet and low...) and we would have to ask her multiple times. Very annoying. It was crowded, but not crazy crowded... I doubt I will go back. There are so many better places for equal to or less than this meal cost.

We have been to other Season 52 locations around the country and were excited to see one was opening locally. This location did not disappoint and was as good as remembered! The food is very tasty and there is a great menu selection (we went for lunch) of lower calorie food options (all under 475 calories per entree). And you can't go wrong with the yummy dessert in "shot glasses" that are only $2.50 and just a "hint" of dessert. We will definitely be back again!

I've been to another Seasons 52, liked the menu and wanted to try out this one. The interior is super nice for a lunch with friends, dinner date or group of friends or family. The bar has a piano bar, which I plan to go back to experience for some cocktails (checked out their cocktail menu and have a few I want to try). I had Delicious fish tacos for lunch! So fresh and filling! My friend got the lemongrass salmon salad which was a perfect portion and looked super good, definitely may try it some time. I loved how they had a seasonal menu in addition to their regular menu. Everything was fresh! Service was very good and responsive. I recommend this place

Went for dinner Tuesday evening to celebrate a birthday. First off, we were pleasantly greeted by a team of folks at the front door. Walking to our table, I was surprised at how nice the decor was, passing by a large bar area with nice seating, a small wine cellar, a private dining room, and into the main dining area. I was impressed with the decor - it felt like a high end restaurant that you'd find in the downtown area of a major metropolitan city, but this was nice and close to home. I was also amazed at just how crowded the restaurant was for a Tuesday evening. The menu didn't have a printed children's menu, but the choices were: Turkey or Buffalo burger, flatbread pizza, chicken tenders, or pasta. Word of warning: these are not your typical kids' meals. The burgers come out on a toasted sesame seed bun. Although, they happily switched it out to a toasted foccacia bread that my daughter loved. The chicken tenders are not your typical breaded and deep fried strips, but rather, well-season, grilled. My son (and I) enjoyed them very much. They come with delicious home fry style potatoes, and haricot verts (like green beans, but tastier). Our kids prefer food like that rather than your typical friend chicken tenders/mac and cheese/hot dog etc, but just be aware that is not what you'll get here. I'm usually pretty skeptical about eating at these large national chain type restaurants, but I must admit I was again [pleasantly] surprised at the quality of the food. We ordered a grilled scallops and pork chop. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sides were delicious as well. My only small complaint was the service was a bit slow, but were apologetic and courteous. I'll chalk that up to the fact that the restaurant is brand spanking new and probably still working out the little bumps that all new businesses experience. Chain restaurant? Yes. Would I recommend and go back? Yes. It's like dining in the city, but much closer to home.

52 Reasons not to go. 500 calories or less at 1500 calorie prices.... 2 SMALL pieces of meat on the steak salad. I asked for oil and vinegar and I swear the vinegar was watered down. My husband had to stop for ice cream on the way home because he was still hungry.

Went to Seasons 52 on Saturday afternoon with group of 6 to celebrate mother in laws bday. Greeted kindly at door; excellent food and service. Did not feel rushed. Flatbread and warm olives great appetizer. Also hamburger best ever and salmon and flatiron steak salad enjoyed by members in party. Will definitely return...great fresh food, warm inviting environment, great experience!

So first time at seasons 52, boasts a seasonal menu with all items 475 calories or less. Unfortunately some of the entrees taste like this also--the veggies are great and dessert is also not bad...maybe giving them an extra star. The deal breaker was the service--our waiter was to rushed to ask if we needed water. Also so rushed he spilled water on the table and did not even stay to wipe it away. Seems some folks may need remediation in customer service. The restaurant has potential but room to improve.

Ever since the Square opened I wanted to try Seasons 52 for dinner. Last night did not disappoint. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The place sits a lot of guests and for the middle of the week was pretty crowded. I did feel a draft on me but never mentioned this to my waiter. Adam was our waiter and he was great. He's local but was sent in from one of the other locations in the US. For appetizers my husband and I had the plum tomato flatbread. It was delicious and very light. He also had the clam and shrimp soup which he found very flavorful. For dinner he got the t bone lamb chops which was three chops. He did worry about the portion sizes given the calories of all meals are less than 475 but luckily I did not finish my delicious meal. I had the grilled salmon special with asparagus and potatoes. We never pass up dessert but it's hard not to when they bring it all to you in "shot" glasses. He got rocky road and I a caramel chocolate goodness. Both of us were very pleased. Oh, we also had wine & cocktails too of course. My Santa Julia Pinot was divine. Definitely check this place out!!

Went to Seasons for the first time. I thought it was good ... the 475 calorie thing makes sense. Food was good and portions were fine. Wine was okay ... I had a wine by the glass (pinot noir) that was too warm. Service was very good. I'd go back.

This restaurant was really really bad. I have never written a bad review of anything in my entire life, but I am so annoyed at this place that I had to write something. First of all I don't think you need to sacrifice flavor to have healthy food. The buffalo burger was disgusting, the bun was stale, and the "tater tots" were horrific. The flavor and texture of everything was beyond gross. As for the service, the host waited to seat us for no reason- the place was empty. The waiter was nice but then took fifteen minutes to bring our check back to us after we'd given him our card. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me.

First off, 5 stars to the bartender, Warren who is awesome and always make you feel so welcome! I like the wine flights with the flatbread combo. What a great deal and the flatbreads are delicious. I think they should add a high end, white wine flight as well like they have for the reds.

I was intrigued by the dessert in the shot glass, which certainly delivered. It was just enough. Before that however we ordered the hummus appetizer and the edamame. The lavash that came with the hummus was so dang salty it was inedible. The edamame was enjoyable. The wait staff were more than friendly, the menu was reasonably priced (not so much the drinks) and everything is under 475. I will be back but would likely explore other menu items.

Service= terrible, Food = mediocre We sat at the bar, staffed by 3 bartenders. The dirty things from the people before us stayed there for the 15+ MINUTES it took somebody to even acknowledge us, and the bar was not busy or even half way full. 2 people in our party never got placemats. We had to ask for each drink refill (martinis were actually very good). Warm caprese salad- pesto had no flavor, "fresh" mozz was a huge disappointment, wayyyyyy too much balsamic. Hummus duo- fairly boring, served with crackers/crostini that had WAY too much salt and were inedible (and I love salt). Filet was served at wrong temp and with the wrong vegetable. Scallops were decent, chicken was decent. They have a piano player in the middle of the bar which is a nice touch, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE WE HAD TO ASK HER TO SEND OVER A BARTENDER. Each time she took a break it was awkwardly quiet. The menu is rampant with mushrooms, so if you don't like/don't eat them, you are very limited. Also, one of the bartenders was doing dishes and walking around the bar with giant yellow rubber dishwashing gloves. Seemed odd. Only tiny TVs No sign of a manager ever. With so many good places in the direct vicinity, I don't see why I would EVER go back.

Awful. Our waiter was nice....but he got our orders wrong. The mashed potatoes were dry and tasted too salty.....my lamb was over-cooked. The Greek salad was a joke. The dressing tasted like Wishbone Italian dressing. The interior reminded me of a dining room in a nursing facility. I'm shocked that this place is part of the new Chestnut Hill shopping area....What a disappointment!

We have had better . Wouldn't recommend it. My husband ordered the cedar salmon that came with "smashed potatoes" . The dish was served with ONE potato the size of my thumb. When we asked about the portion the server replied "Yes that's all we have tonight" . We then ordered an order of steak fries that never came to the table. The server never even checked on us after the meal was served. The food in general was a tad overpriced for the portion that was served. We did ask for a check in the end and the server insisted on bringing the dessert selection to the table, it made us feel very uncomfortable. Never again.....

I recently visited during lunch hour for the first time. Havent been in this area for a bit... I actually wanted to dine at cheesecake factory, not realizing that it was moved over to the other side of route 9. So whatever, try something different.... why not. I went in with my partner and the place was dead. It was so fancy yet we got the worst service ever! we were helped by this girl who was either spanish... or black and white nationality wise. Rude as they come!!! She was no where to be found during our whole lunch! no wonder this place is dead !! took us 20 minutes for her to come to our table and take our appetizer order! took her 15 minutes for just waters! took 35 minutes for us to receive our Edamame! and not only that but while putting in our entrees I did some motifications and she kept telling me they didnt have the stuff I was asking her to add to our dishes, i literally had to point her to the menu to show her they did have the stuff! Worst place in the world I ve ever had lunch at. DO NOT RECOMMEND it at all. and now reading the rest of the reviews i can see why!!! Looks good...but looks are definitely deceiving.

What a disappointment. I went last night with a friend and we sat at the bar. The service from the bar staff went from acceptable to terrible over the course of the 3 hours we were there. We had to ask for everything, sometimes more than once. We sat with empty glasses in front of us for prolonged periods of time and still the bartenders would not come around to sell us more drinks. We ordered 3 appetizers. The first was set down in front of us and we then had to flag down someone to bring us silverware/napkin. We then got the special tuna/avocado sushi roll at which time we again had to ask for utensils. The roll was average at best, probably 70% rice and somewhat gummy. We'd also ordered a flatbread which we waited and waited for, only to have to ask for it. Water glasses remained empty until we could finally flag someone down to get a refill. By this time it was about 9pm and the place had basically emptied out, but these guys were more interested in cleaning so they could get out of there than attending to the smattering of customers who were seated at the bar. The atmosphere is OK, if you like dark carpeted restaurants. The clientele is decidedly older, my friend is mid-30s and I am early 40s and we were by far the youngest people in there. The one good thing is that the prices weren't outrageous, but then we did only order 3 apps and 2 drinks each. I will not go back.

It was very noisy, we were at a table and it ws difficult to follow a conversation. We have eaten here before, but this service was painfully slow, needed to remind server about several items. Had to ask for finished items to be taken away. Really long, long wait for entrees and then made the mistake of ordering coffee, which required another long wait. We paid for the check before we got the coffee, which was being brewed fresh, we were informed 10 min.after ordering. I finally refused a dessert-- I find their dessert presentation fairly manipulative: they present the full assortment, they put a spotlight on each dessert, tell you their favorite. It surprises me in a restaurant that touts it's calorie counts on the entrees, doesn't put bread on the table. I feel it is all about making money, and a bit manipulative.

Four friends and I went to Seasons 52 in Chestnut Hill at 6 p.m. on Saturday night. We were lucky not to have to wait for a booth in the bar area. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere and the entertainment - a Billy Joel type singer. The food was very tasty. We were all most satisfied. I recommend this restaurant.

Brand new Seasons 32 Seafood and grill is a pretty nice place to try for drinks or dinner. The bar has a piano which spins 360 degrees to face the patrons sitting at the bar. The dinning room has plenty of private booths which can seat two four or even eight. enjoyed a crisp garden salad paired with cider glazed chicken skewers which were fantastic. Premium cocktails are on the pricey side matching some of the neighboring restaurants like Capital Grill, Del Friscos and Davios. The eager staff served me promptly and were friendly engaging and professional. I'm making this a regular stop.

Underwhelmed, at least if you have to eat gluten free. I was excited that there was a gluten free menu, but the choices were pretty much "some protein with no sauce or seasoning" and potatoes. I ordered pork with potatoes and asparagus. I am not sure which was drier or blander, the meat or the spuds. I nearly choked on the pork as it was horrifically dry and hard. I don't think it was even salted before cooking. The potatoes were dessicated hackey sacks. When the waitress asked me if I was enjoying my meal and wanted a doggy bag since half was left over, I told her that I had given up on eating the dish halfway through for safety reasons because it was worse than shoe leather, and she said she would tell the chef. After that she reappeared with the full bill and not so much as an apology. I paid $19 for 4 ounces of asparagus and a choking hazard, but hey, it was gluten free, right? F on food, F on customer service. There are other gluten free choices in Chestnut Hill with similar price points but good customer service and delicious foods so I don't feel like I am being punished for having a disease.

We've eaten at Seasons 52 in Scottsdale and FL. We had high hopes for this one. We've eaten there 3 times since they opened in the late fall and it's gotten worse each time. Service is horrific - tonight I left zero tip for the first time in my life. Food varies from acceptable to good. Stay away - they just can't get their act together.

Visited seasons52 where entrees are created with under475 calories. We ordered corn soup not chowder with a delicious mix of puréed and whole corn. Grilled caramelized scallops as a side. Flat iron steak cooked perfectly with sugar snap peas grilled cherry tomatoes and mashed potatoes. We also ordered the corn skillet which had fresh corn onions crisp bacon and Parmesan cheese on top. This was an excellent dish which I would recommend to others . Serving size is smaller that many restaurants but the quality and taste exceeds most others. The smaller portion allowed room for dessert. We ordered a shooter of s'mores with dark chocolate pudding and chocolate cake with marshmallow and graham cracker. And a shooter of chocolate peanut butter swirl which had peanuts choc cake mousse which was delightful. Whole thing cost $49 and we left very happy but not too full. Wait staff was attentive and hostess staff seated us prompted in a booth by the kitchen so we could watch all of the dishes coming out

We decided to start of at the bar before dinner (reservation @ 7:30pm). We managed to find two open seats. We were quickly greeted by the bartender (Ralph). We ordered two martini drinks - cosmo and gimlet. A few things to note and favorably appreciated: 1) frosted glasses 2) individual shakers with a little overage of our drinks 3) we were asked on our preference of garnish Not sure how they managed to squeeze a piano inside the bar and all the bartenders working seamlessly around the pianist as plays but it's pretty cool. Fast forward 45mins - time to check in for our reservation. We were ready to chow. Our server, Ben, stopped by to introduce himself and gave us the 411 on Seasons 52 - think all we absorbed was all items on menu were under 475 calories! Loved how they serve the glasses of wine...bringing the bottle to the table and let you sample first. Our guilt-free dining included: Apps - Crabmeat/shrimp/spinach stuffed mushrooms - Roasted Mushrooms flatbread without the goat cheese Dinner - Caramelized grilled sea scallops served with butternut squash risotto and broccolini - Lemon herb roasted whole branzino served with broccolini and crushed roasted potatoes We both enjoyed the appetizers and entrees - they were well seasoned and full of flavor - so hard to believe they were all under 475 calories each. The flat bread was cardstock thin - so even the carb conscious wouldn't feel guilty from enjoying a couple slices. With all the light eating - we managed to save room for dessert. The desserts (in shot glasses) were brought out on a tray platter - over 10+ variety. We opted for the carrot cake, smores and cheesecake. With them being in shot glasses - it was just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth and wrap up the evening. Services were exemplary at the bar, host and dining room. Only minus was the décor - it could be a little more modern - less wood, misplaced greenery and better upholstery pattern.

Came in with the wife for dinner. She had dined here before and you think under 500 calories will not be good but your wrong. The place is wonderful as is the service. Check my pictures out !

(5)DJ N.
Enjoy!
(4)Lily G.

(3)Joanie L.

Consistency in good food and service. Always a pleasant dining experience!

First time -- LOVED IT -- and our waitperson, David, was AMAZING. Can't wait to go back.

Sat at the bar last night and had a great time. The bar staff and Ralph the Barack was a great young man. We had great apps and amazing dinner. Love the place and will be back. Eric and Veronika

I didn't think that was true but asked my server the last time I was there and she confirmed it.

stopped by after dinner at nearby sushi restaurant. Ambiance was great. Live music. Keyboardist who also was the vocals did an amazing job. was about 930 pm was not too crowded, enough room to get our own table to just hang out

Overpriced, in return for a very disorganized service and food with average taste and quality. I just give two stars for its location and the modern decoration.

Came for 1st time before BC hockey game. Had flat bread appy and dinner crab salad. Hubby had the pork tenderloin - both entrees excellent. Veggies fresh and crisp. Ambience and service good and not loud like many restaurants now. Will be back!

(2)Alicia N.
A really nice bar layout - large yet not feeling crowded. The dinner portions are smaller - true to a lower cal focus on the menu - although quite tasty! They even had a pianist on Fri night for some fun music!
(4)Ann L.

(2)Susan H.

(2)J L.
I love this place every time I have gone with friends or family great food and good service. I love the fact that I am aware of the calories I am consuming. I wish other places would follow.
(5)Jess W.

Great food, Very health conscious. Sat at the piano bar and listened to the. The service, was very good. I had an amazing martini! They also have a good wine selection.

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday at the start of Restaurant Week. The food was fresh, delicious flavors and interesting choices. The service was great - attentive but not over bearing. The three course luncheon meal was a true value. Can't wait to come back.

Love to come here for business meetings. The food and wine is spectacular and the atmosphere is great, the staff is also very friendly, cant say enough about how much i love this place! The greek salad with a piece of salmon is my favorite.
(5)M D.

(4)Corie S.
Had an amazing healthy meal but nothing could beat the service. Our bartender, Warren was helpful with the menu and made our experience beyond. Funny, personable and knowledgeable. Best date night ever!
(5)K H.
Went to Seasons for the first time. I thought it was good ... the 475 calorie thing makes sense. Food was good and portions were fine. Wine was okay ... I had a wine by the glass (pinot noir) that was too warm. Service was very good. I'd go back.
(4)Abby M.
(1)Deb B.
After making a reservation through this website, I got a call 2 days later, confirming the reservation(witch I never had occur). When after giving our name, they called us by our last name, and so did our waiter, James N. The food wonderful & we'll be back. Thank you"
(4)Renee S.
First off, 5 stars to the bartender, Warren who is awesome and always make you feel so welcome! I like the wine flights with the flatbread combo. What a great deal and the flatbreads are delicious. I think they should add a high end, white wine flight as well like they have for the reds.
(5)Robin G.
(4)Amy D.
(2)Miriam G.
(1)Mary T.
(2)Jeff J.
Food is pretty good....love the flatbread. The best part was the performer, Lyndsey Jones. She was awesome and the best part of the evening!

Started off with a bit of a wait despite having a reservation. Manager sorted this out and evening turned out fine. Menu is interesting. They may be having some issues due to recent opening, so will return to see if it has improved enough to make me a regular.

(5)Sandra F.
Helpful attentive staff. Warm setting. Dreadful food. I'm a big dessert fan but couldn't finish my small flute because it was awful. Head somewhere else and eat a small portion if you're counting calories.
(2)David B.
